Mrs. [Mary] Plumer died in 1701, and Mr. [Samuel] Plumer died in the summer of the following year, at the age of eighty-three. <ref>[https://archive.org/stream/essexinstitutehiv50esse#page/n95/mode/2up Essex Institute Historical Collections, Vol. 50(1914):39] The Plumer Genealogy, Sidney Perley.</ref> These deaths are not recorded in the Newbury Vital Records, nor on Findagrave.com, however Samuel's will & probate file is extant and agrees with his death in 1702.
