Anna Margretha Zimmermann died after 2 October 1727 in Pennsylvania.<ref>Family tradition states that her husband died during the passage to the British Colonies, however she arrived safely with her children at Philadelphia. [Montgomery, ''Berks County Pennsylvania'' (1909), vol. 2, p. 1625.] While family tradition is that she arrived in 1730 on the Thistle, later research has determined her husband departed for the British Colonies on the Adventure in 1727. The men on that ship were qualified at Philadelphia on 2 Oct 1727. [Strassburger and Hinke, ''Pennsylvania German Pioneers'', p. 15.] The last contemporary source I have found that lists her by name is the baptism of her son Johannes on 15 Feb 1722. [Haßloch, Taufen, Heiraten u Tote 1700-1798, FHL microfilm 488292, Lutheran Church Book, p. 35, Johannes, son of Leonhard and Anna Margretha Rothermel, Böhl, born [9] Feb 1722, baptized 15 Feb 1722, sponsor Johannes Sa[w]r.]</ref> She is buried in Rothermel-Federolf-Bittenbender Cemetery, Hereford Township, Berks Co., Pennsylvania.<ref>Harvey C. Dreibelbis, Rothermel Country History, p. 3, source not cited digital images of a three page type written manuscript with a date written in pen in the upper right hand corner of the first page [7]/31/89 provided by Candice Steelman on 16 Sep 2018 Richard W. Tobin II Family History Papers, Peoria, Arizona. I am aware of the profile on Find A Grave, however there is no gravestone and the sources for information provided are not listed. The information that I was able to check was not accurate. [''Find A Grave'', database and images, (http:/www.findagrave.com : accessed 20 September 2018), memorial page for UNSOURCED: Margaretha Sybilla Zimmerman Rothermel, Memorial no. 55691156, no picture of a gravestone, the sources for information provided on this profile are not listed, the personal name is known to be incorrect, year of birth listed is 1690 in Germany, but this is a guess, the year of death is listed as 1754, but there is no support for that date, citing Rothermel-Federolf-Bittenbender Cemetery, Hereford Township, Berks Co., Pennsylvania.]</ref> Johann Leonard Leonard Rothermel uncertain 1688 uncertain Heiliges Römisches Reich after 2 Oct 1727 Pennsylvania Male WikiTree-75
