Benjamin Little went by the name of Frank and was known as Pop to his grandchildren. In the 1900 census he is listed as Jonas B. which would indicate that he was originally named after his grandfather. Sometime in the next 10 years he would begin to be referred to as Frank which is what is listed in the 1910 census. Frank Little started work at Alabama Power in 1925 as a meter reader. He also worked as a collection clerk and retired from the company in January of 1959. He raised a garden every summer down at Southside and ran trotlines on the Coosa River. He was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan listening to their games on the radio in the evenings. He also enjoyed bowling. This researcher remembers Pop always reading the daily newspaper front to back. He was a long-time member and deacon of the 12th Street Baptist Church in Gadsden joining that church in 1933.== Sources == | Benjamin Frank Little | certain 9 Dec 1893 Ohatchie, Calhoun Co., Alabama | certain 7 Jul 1976 certain Gadsden, Etowah Co., Alabama | Male | Little-9091 |

A very special thank you to Mother's caregivers, Celia Ball, Megan Bryant, Becky Free, Judy Buchanan, Misty Nance and Jean Steele. They will forever remain in our hearts for the outpouring of love they gave not only to Mother but us as well. Mother also loved her preacher, Brother Mark Martin, and we thank him for his endless encouragement and sharing of God's love during this time.== Biography == | Katherine Woodard (Bowlen) aka Thompson | certain 3 Feb 1926 certain Blount, Alabama, United States | certain 24 May 2018 certain Attalla, Etowah, Alabama, United States | Female | Thompson-11020 |
