I believe he is buried in the cemetery currently known as Cementario Civil de Ponce because his death registration records the burial as Civil de Canas. Canas is the barrio where Cementario Civil de Ponce is located, but Find-A-Grave's page for the cemetery<ref>[https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/2150675/cementerio-civil-de-ponce Cementario Civil de Ponce]</ref> explains Cementerio Civil (and Municipal) was opened to the public in 1904, three years after the Catholic Cemetery was established at the same barrio Canas.
