I currently believe the Wikitree profile to be more correct than the Find A Grave memorial. Other Wikitree members have added to the profile but it still appears to be better than the Find A Grave, I did suggest years ago to the manager of that memorial to make some changes which I do see has been done but they are still different than sources I and other have on Wikitree |

WikiTree birth date is correct. All source pretty much agree he was born on the 25th Day, 9th Month, year 1726. * DATE OF BIRTH: John Eves was born on 25th Day, 9th Month, 1726 in Ireland. In the year 1726, it was the Old Style (O.S.) of dating using the Julian Calendar. So the 9th Month was November, not what the current New Style (N.S.) calendar has the 9th Month being September. |
