Reviewing the family line [[Pfautz-2]] there appear to be many references to other genealogical websites and databases (no direct link to any sources) as well as a family book. More research (census, birth, death, marriage, probate, etc. records) and verification of the family line descendants from [[Pfautz-2]] using familysearch.org and findagrave.com are needed before determining whether these two families are the same, distinctly different, or a mixture with some false connections possibly on both lines. |

Rather, they are for search results supporting this sentence in the biography for Motz-379: 'Notably, for all of Northampton County, the website Find-A-Grave has only one Motz burial (Anna Margaret Motz 1742-1812)[5], 10 Moats burials but all born 1899 and later[6], and 8 Moatz burials but all with 20th-century births.[7]' All of that is in support of the fact that the family left Northampton Co. before 1800. |
